Currently when you use your QSCU Visa card for purchases, you press 'credit' and sign to accept the transaction. This option will continue to be available, however from June 4 2008 particiapting retail outlets across Australia will allow you to enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) instead, giving you a more secure and faster way to confirm your purchase.

Unsure about using your PIN with your credit card purchases? We hope the following FAQs assist you.

Why has this been introduced?
All financial institutions have worked together to add this service as an enhanced convenience to you. The use of a PIN in most cases will be a faster process when purchasing goods or services in a face to face environment.

Why do I need a PIN?
A PIN is an alternative form of verification and since your PIN is known only to you, this makes it an even more secure way to verify your purchases. It does not replace signing but offers a new choice.

When can I start using my PIN
From June 4 2008 you can use your PIN at participating retail outlets across Australia.

I have a PIN on my card already. Do I need a new PIN
No, you can use your existing PIN.

Can an additional card holder also use a PIN?

What if I have been issued a PIN but have forgotten what it is?
