Keeping you secure within Online Banking

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide members with the highest level of online security and protection against Internet fraud, we have secondary login call 'Factor2 Icon Authentication'.

Factor2 is free and automatic for all Members, and is in addition to your normal log in. Factor2 is a series of pictures and the first time you log in to Online Banking it will ask you to choose 3 pictures from a library - and remember the order in which you choose them. You’ll be asked to select these pictures in order from now on whenever you make a BPAYpayment or perform account transfers within an Online Banking session.

Security software

We strongly recommend that all Members have some form of security software operating on their home computers to minimise the chances of fraud and viruses. One of the more comprehensive security software programs available is Trend Micro Internet Security Software, which currently has a special offer available to QSCU Members.

Designed for home computer users, the Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security Pro 2008 offers anti-virus protection, keystroke encryption and protection against Trojans, spyware and rootkits. The software also gives users a personal firewall and a range of home network monitoring and parental content controls.
